Jalapeño Ranch Dip

  • Author: Britt
  • Total Time: 10 minutes

Description

Jalapeño Ranch Dip is a creamy, zesty blend of cool ranch flavor and spicy jalapeños. Perfect for chips, veggies, or drizzling over tacos, this dip brings bold flavor to every bite with just the right kick.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 16-ounce container light sour cream
  • 1 1-ounce package ranch seasoning mix
  • 3 fresh jalapeños, seeds removed
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 lime, juiced

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor add your seeded jalapenos. Then pulse the blender a few times just until the jalapenos are broken up into chucks.
  2. Add cilantro and pulse a few more times until your peppers and cilantro are broken up.
  3. Add sour cream, ranch mix, and the juice from the lime. Blend until mixture is completely incorporated.
  4. Serve chilled. I think this is better the next day when the flavors have had time to meld together, but it can be served immediately.

Notes

  • Use pickled jalapeños for tangier flavor, or fresh for a sharper heat.
  • Blend in avocado or Greek yogurt for a creamier, healthier version.
  • Keeps in the fridge for up to 5 days—store in a sealed jar.
  • Great as a burger topping, sandwich spread, or salad dressing too!
